CDCE-I is advancing the ‘YouthMappers’ project at Private Palestinian Universities through the Positive Youth Engagement Program (PYE).
Two-day peer to peer transfer of Knowledge activity was held on August 26 and 28, 2024 at Palestine Ahliya University PAU, where three experienced Youth Mappers trained nineteen new participants of PAU Youth Mappers expanded chapter. During the training sessions, three young trainers instructed 19 of their newly recruited peers on using open platforms and the technical knowledge needed for mapping activities. Additionally, they empowered trainees with the know-how to become active members to plan and implement projects, competitions, and hackathons in the future. YMs initiative is designed to empower students to leverage geographic knowledge to solve real-world problems.
