The Community Development and Continuing Education Institute in Bethlehem held its tenth annual general assembly meeting, with the presence of the members of the administrative body and members of the executive staff of the association. Mr. Imad Al-Zeer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute, opened the meeting by presenting the agenda including the important topics that are to be discussed and approved by the General Assembly.
Mr. Khaled Shana’a, Executive Director of the Institute, gave a detailed explanation of the v various rojects that were implemented during the past year. He completed a review of the administrative report for the year ending on 12/ 31/2021, highlighting the achievements made at the internal organizational levels, and how these achievements strengthened partnerships and enabled multiple parties to sign agreements together. He praised the activities and training programs, as well as the assembly projects that were implemented during the period. The administrative report was voted on and approved unanimously.
The General Assembly was concluded by the Chairman of the BOD, Dr. Imad Al-Zeer, who presented a thorough review of the most important components of the financial report for the same period ending 12/31/2021. The review outlined financial flows, as well as the volume of expenses, expenditures and revenues during the period. The report was presented to the General Assembly in order to seek approval and addressing any inquires that the General Assembly may have. This report was also voted on and approved unanimously.
During the meeting, members of the BOD for the past year were absolved of liability. The renewal of the organization’s external auditor’s contract for an additional fiscal year was approved.
At the end of the General Assembly, Mr. Imad Al-Zeer, the chairman of the BOD, thanked Mr. Khaled Shana’a, Executive Directors, and members of the Executive Staff of the organization for their outstanding performance and achievements. This was a breakthrough, and reflected a bright future for the organization. He called on the members of the general assembly to effectively communicate with the executive management of the institute to put forward ideas and initiatives and implement them as part of the activities of CDCE-I.
